Cabin Knapphulet
Nestled between two large rocks on an island in the Norwegian archipelago, this cabin feels big despite the small 30 square meter footprint. The big glass windows and the bench extending from the living area out onto the terrace makes it feel expansive. The design of this cabin is impeccably executed with the materials carrying over from the interior to the exterior, making the space seamless and well thought out. The roof even multifunction as stairs to the roof terrace where the owner has a panoramic view over the sea.

The Book
What's more spring like, and will without a doubt give you the feelings of spring, than the classic children's book The Secret Garden? Written by Frances Hodgson Burnett, the novel tells the story of a young orphaned girl who is sent to live with her distant uncle. Once there she starts to explore her surroundings and its secrets. It's a great read for children and adults alike. Perhaps to read together during spring break?

The Secret Garden has been adapted into a motion picture a few times over the last 60 years with the latest version arriving in 2020. The production team behind this adaptation is also known for producing the Harry Potter movies, which only means that this version of The Secret Garden is nothing short of magical. The garden is created by sourcing and shooting in the most stunning gardens Great Britain has to offer, and we love that they've gone to length to curate the garden this way. The movie also indicates that nature can be healing, which is oh, so true!
