Previously only found in the historic concert halls of the Copenhagen music venue, Vega, the VLA26 Vega Chair is now put into production at Carl Hansen & Søn, in partnership with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects. Designed in the 1950s, the reissued chair is a modernist masterpiece. Profiling Vilhelm Lauritzen’s signature aesthetic, the functionalist design appears effortlessly simple yet is imbued with character. Well-proportioned for comfort, its back curves to embrace the sitter. Expertly crafted in wood and steel, with elegant wooden feet that lend an artisanal feel to the stackable design.
