Literally translating to "bird perch" in Japanese, Torii perfectly describes the stool's distinct proportions and traditional joinery, and the sense of harmony and calm inherent in design that is beautifully resolved.

Materials
Solid wood frame: CNC machined solid wood structural frame (FSC Ash, FSC Oak, FSC Walnut) with plastic glides. Aluminum footrest flat bar. Low gloss water based polyurethane clear coat.
Seat cushion: Plywood core panel with medium density structural foam. Cover not removable.
