A bold new addition to the Tom Dixon furniture collection, SMASH explores the expressive potential of natural stone through a contemporary lens. Each table features a distinctive geometric mosaic made from mixed marble fragments, set within BPA-free resin to create a striking, tactile surface. Crafted in Agra, India — a region world-renowned for marble craftsmanship — SMASH combines traditional skill with modern material innovation. While the overall composition remains consistent, the natural variation in marble veining and tone ensures that every piece is truly one of a kind.
A composite stone, made from crushed natural marble, SMASH is a terrazzo style surface crafted from a multitude of marble pieces. SMASH is heavy in weight, the coffee table is a generous 66 kg, and the more petite side table 14 kg. Deliberately expressed joins creates a striking, mosaic-like surface full of character and depth. Colours are intentionally selected from factory stock—not random—resulting in a rich palette of green, forest green and spider green marble. Honed matte tabletop delivers a soft, velvety touch while enhancing the graphic quality of the stone. PFAS-free sealed surface resists staining, discolouration, and daily wear, making the table suitable for both residential and contract environments.
BPA-free resin tabletop and PFAS-free black powder-coated cast aluminium legs, which forms a visual connection to the SPIN and CAST accessories. Tested and certified for residential and contract use (BS EN 16139).
