The Petal Plates are a colourful collection of hand-made plates, entirely made in NYC. Available in two sizes, they can be used on their own as serving dishes, combined into a set of dinner plates, or paired with the smaller size to create striking colour combinations or colour blocked pairings. They also work beautifully as decorative catch all bowls. Using a process called slumping, we start by hand shaping the plates in ceramic. Then, the ceramic form is cast in plaster, and glass discs are heated in a kiln and slumped over this mold.
Made by hand in small batches. These are handmade items—each plate is unique and slight irregularities on the surface may occur. This is a natural result of the production process.
