The Fiber Lounge Armchair features a generously spacious seat and embracing curves that embody the elegance of the Fiber Series in a softer, more inviting form. The chair's shell is made from 100% recycled plastic, supported by either a wood base in FSC™️-certified (FSC-C028824) solid oak or a tube base in powder-coated steel.
Materials
- Shell: The shell is made using 100% recycled plastic mixed with strength-improving additives. The recycled plastic comes from post-consumer waste. The shell is clad with foam and wadding and finished with a high-quality textile, imitation leather, or leather upholstery.
- Steel Base: Steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more resistant to corrosion. Powder coated steel is also highly chip resistant.
- Oak base: Oak is a traditionally Scandinavian material with durable abilities against factors such as water and fungi alongside a high level of strength, giving it long-lasting properties fit for furniture.
