Farrier takes its name from the skilled craft of the farrier, whose work with leather and horseshoes inspired the collection's honest materiality and refined construction. Likewise, the saddle leather wrapping the frame celebrates durability, precision, and timeless utility.
The thoughtfully engineered leather sling creates a supportive, three-dimensional form that defines both the seat pitch and overall comfort, while establishing the chair's sculptural profile.
Rather than relying on excess structure, the leather is folded and tailored into pockets that wrap over the backrest and beneath the front of the seat, securing the leather to the frame and creating the suspended support that is central to the design.
Every stitch, fold, and attachment point balances visual lightness with lasting support, allowing the natural saddle leather to flex subtly while maintaining the posture and comfort expected of a dining chair.
