Since their first collaboration with Carl Hansen & Søn in 2015, the design studio EOOS has continued to develop a light and poetic typology that translates the supreme comfort and versatility of indoor lounging into a variety of outdoor settings.
Influenced by the kinetic qualities of a kite in flight, the E023 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Table presents an intriguing interplay of untreated FSC™-certified, highly durable teak and cool steel wire.
The table-top consists of 37 individually cut pieces of solid wood, which are sanded and mounted by hand in a daisy formation. Ideal for the outdoors, the dynamic qualities in the teak develop as it weathers from a warm orange to an elegant silver-grey. Sturdy, steel wire legs with a solid wood base give the table a lightness of form, merging outdoor functionality with the familiarity and comfort of indoor living.
The table’s 48cm radius is ideal for smaller spaces, designed for use with the EO18 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Chair.
