With a shape that invokes the magical, festive spirit of a hot air balloon, this creation by the Castiglioni brothers creates an air of whimsy. Named for a “little cat,” it sits softly on any table, offering a glowing diffused light. The lamp is done in the famous “cocoon” style that the duo was known for: a white powder coats the internal steel structure, which is then sprayed with the soft, webby resin. The diffuser is then protected by a transparent, sprayed-on finish.
