Audo x Atelier Armand is a new collaboration inspired by the community-building spirit of The Audo, where creative minds meet over design. Created for Audo by Swedish ceramist and designer Cecilia Armand, the Fragilis bowl is a sculptural object with purpose and poise. “I wanted to create a modern yet timeless piece that could reflect a fragile, almost sheer form but still with a weight to it,” says Armand on the new design, hand formed from a single piece of porcelain. “The undulating, organic shape of the bowl evokes a play of light and shadow, changing its expression throughout the day as the shifting light falls on it. Its irregular shape lends personality to a room,” she adds. It's soft curves create a calm expression – offset by the satin black glaze, which adds intensity and intrigue to the versatile design. Beyond its practical use as a bowl, Fragilis is a decorative work of art.
