The Holiday Table Setting

The holidays are all about gathering and bringing people together. Here we share some of our tips to create the perfect holiday tablescape for your festive dinner party, brunch, or holiday celebration.

The Centrepiece 

As the focal point of your table, the centrepiece allows you to add colour, festive decorations and intimate candlelight to your table setting.

For our centrepiece, we started with an assortment of live greenery draped along the length of the table to add an instant holiday feel and smell. Next we added some of our favourite ornaments and homemade holiday crafts.

When adding colour to your centrepiece, you can pull from the materials in your space or follow your own holiday colour scheme. (Colours from your favourite wrapping paper work great!)

Light

Candles are the perfect way to bring intimacy and warmth to your gathering. Cast in polished or bronzed brass and detailed with rattan, the Duca Candle Holders by Menu can be adjusted to the perfect height as your candle burns. Hung above the table, an arrangement of Bocci 14's provide a warm overhead ambient light. 

Place Setting

When setting the table for your guests, ensure each place setting has the perfect glass for your signature holiday cocktail. These 6oz double-wall glasses from Yield are suitable for both hot and cold drinks and are available in a clear or amber coloured glass. 

Stars of the Show

Finally, the stars of the show in your holiday gathering setup. Featured in our setup is the beautiful Bensen Radii Table in white oak. Radii is a solid wood dining table with subtle detailing for a refined appearance in your space. For seating, we mix the Able Bench with the Torii and Tokyo chairs from Bensen to provide a comfortable mix of seating around the table.
